The announcement by Viva, given directly by the CEO Satya Nadella, comes at a time when socio-economic trends are generating profound changes in the involvement of the workforce, with the transition to an increasingly flexible and digital environment.

Employee experience platforms are a new category of solutions that fits within what is still a fragmented market for services, infrastructure and tools, many of which are not known and used by employees.

For Microsoft Viva, it leverages Teams and Microsoft 365 to create a unified platform that allows people to give the best to work.

Microsoft has announced an initial set of Viva modules that will offer innovative features and the possibility of integration with the solutions of an ecosystem of partners.

It will also be possible to expand the platform, allowing customers to integrate their solutions for the imployee experience with Viva to make them even more accessible to employees.

A global network of partners, including Accenture, PwC and EY, will provide consulting and assistance services to help optimise current solutions for the employee experience, integrating them into Microsoft Viva.

Viva Insights offers employees, managers and leaders personalized and operable insights, which can contribute to the growth of people within organizations.

Personal experiences and insights, visible only to the employee, help people to give time to pauses, concentration and learning, as well as to strengthen their relationships with their colleagues.

Managers can see trends at team and organization level, as well as suggestions to better balance productivity and well-being. The insights are generated from aggregated and anonymized data to ensure privacy.

Viva Topics allows you to get into possession of new knowledge and helps people to reach experts from all the organization. Using artificial intelligence to catalog customer data in Microsoft 365 and exploiting the ability to integrate information from third-party services such as ServiceNow and Salesforce, Viva Topics automatically shows argument tabs within conversations and documents of Clicking on a tab opens a page containing documents related to the topic, conversations, videos and people. Viva Topics is now generally available as add-on for Microsoft 365 business plans.
