With the latest updates in the roll-out phase, Google has brought Meet, the app and video meeting service, into Gmail on Android and iOS, so that the user can easily participate in video conferencing starting

With the amount of calls and video meetings that everyone is now participating in daily, and with the email that is always at the heart of communication, this is an integration that can accelerate many workflows.

In the coming weeks, Google announced, users will start to notice a new Meet tab in the Gmail app on their smartphone, where you can view the upcoming meetings scheduled in Google Calendar and easily access to

Google talks about weeks to come because, as usually happens for this type of updates, the new feature is being released and will gradually reach end users.

In the new tab dedicated to Meet you can start a new meeting, get a link to the meeting to share or plan a meeting in Google Calendar. You can then participate in the meetings shared with us by entering a meeting code.

If you do not want Meet to appear as tabs in the Gmail app, you will only have to access your account Settings and uncheck Meet.
