Sap announced an agreement for the acquisition of Signavio, a company active in the field of business process intelligence and business process management. The combination of Signavio and Sap’s Business Process Intelligence division will strengthen the company’s ability to help companies understand, improve, transform and manage their large-scale business processes quickly. The transaction should end in the first quarter of 2021, subject to regulatory approval.
Business Process Intelligence is a key part of Sap’s new offer, Rise with Sap. The offer helps companies achieve a complete business transformation that makes them resilient, agile and intelligent and includes support for fast migration of major Erp processes into the cloud.
Signavio’s integrated cloud-native process management suite perfectly complements Sap’s business process intelligence software. With the addition of Signavio, Sap can now provide a complete suite of flexible solutions for process transformation allowing customers to transform their end to end business processes. This includes process design, benchmarking, gap analysis, and improvement and process change management. The suite will also allow customers to monitor the long-term success of process changes.
The combination of Sap and Signavio will bring together standardised process KPIs, extensive benchmarking data, process mining, in-depth analysis of user behaviour and customer experience to provide companies with a 360-degree view of each business process. It will also provide tools to fully understand and transform processes.
