Vmware improves hybrid cloud operations and automation through the latest updates of the vRealize cloud management platform. Updates that allow developers to quickly create and deploy applications in hybrid cloud environments, with safer and more consistent operations.

The new product releases are: vRealize Operations 7.5, vRealize Network Insight 4.1, vRealize Automation 7.6 and vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager 2.1. These will combine to provide expanded self-driving operations and advanced programmable provisioning capabilities on private clouds and hybrids.

Vmware vRealize Operations

Vmware vRealize Operations offers self-driving operation management from applications to infrastructure to optimize, plan and scale hybrid clouds, including on-premise environments. The solution offers a constant optimization of performance based on operational and business objectives. Efficient capacity management, proactive planning, intelligent remediation and integrated compliance.

Vmware vRealize Operations 7.5 will extend self-driving capabilities to help customers achieve new and improved results in various directions.

Continuous performance optimization. To further improve application performance based on operational and business objectives, this release introduces the optimization of the performance of the hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) of VMware vSAN clusters through workload rebalancing. In addition, the platform will introduce positioning optimization for vSAN workloads using the definition of the storage target.

Efficient capacity management. Lupdate will also include updated vSAN capacity management features, including new HCI cost drivers and what-if scenarios to create models related to the capacity increase of vSAN clusters. In addition, it will provide expanded “what-if” scenarios to compare the costs of private clouds based on Vmware vSphere with VMware Cloud on AWS, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, I As well as other cloud partners of the VMware Cloud Provider program. To help customers succeed in the multi-cloud journey, this integrated portfolio combines with CloudHealth by Vmware. To provide full visibility, optimization and governance for a multi-cloud environment.

Other new releases 7.5

Smart remediation. To predict, prevent and quickly resolve application and infrastructure issues, this new version will introduce the agent-based Telegraf application and the monitoring of the operating system with agent life cycle management and a troubleshooting dashboard. It will also offer advanced features to map the relationships between applications and infrastructure and reduce the time of detection of the main cause of performance and availability problems.

Integrated compliance functionality for VMware vSphere. To reduce risks and apply It and regulatory standards, this new version will introduce integrated compliance and automatic remediation drift capabilities for VMware vSphere. Customers will be able to measure the state of vSphere compliance against key public standards. As well as applying custom compliance standards and automate configuration management with out-of-the-box workflows and vRealize Orchestrator integration.

Vmware vRealize Network Insight

Vmware vRealize Network Insight, also available as VmMware Cloud Service, will extend the visibility for security focused on applications and networking in Kubernetes environments. vRealize Network Insight 4.1 will allow organizations

The new version will further help companies plan and solve security and networking problems by putting applications at the centre, connecting to ServiceNow and adding specific application dashboards. In addition, vRealize Network Insight 4.1 will offer greater visibility on overlay and network underlay by introducing flow latency and load balancing support F5.

vRealize Automation and Lifecycle Manager Suite

vRealize Automation 7.6 will introduce improved integrations with stack capabilities and software-defined data center management Vmware. The aim is to simplify the automation of hybrid cloud environments of its customers.

The new release will further extend integration with NSX Data Center with the new on-demand support for private networks. And with NSX-T and NSX for vSphere configuration for several clusters within a single vCenter Server.

vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager 2.1 will further support customers in managing and automating their environments through advanced integration with Vmware Cloud Foundation, improved user experience, deployment options
