A year after the Recovery Plan, where are we with the real transformation of the country: with what solutions, skills and services do you participate in the missions of the PNRR involving digital?

L’IT is the cornerstone of the digital transition, so all our offer contributes to the realization of the transition itself. Digital transition, like any change, also takes time. Therefore, such a complex theme is addressed at various levels by companies, including our customers. We support our customers first with awareness of the issue and passing the clear message that time is little and can no longer be expected. As the specific services and solutions that contribute to the achievement of the PNRR objectives in the foreground we have collaboration (to speed up business processes and allow maximum balance of life-work, as well as reduce emissions), the cloud (now mainly hybrid to consolidate the

2021 was the year in which the theme of cybersecurity landed in all businesses. What concrete prospects did you give for 2022?

The theme of CyberSec has become central for many realities, both in relation to the security needs related to Smartworking, and for an important increase in attacks on all types of targets. As Group E we have worked a lot in the Secure Integration, that is, the provision of secure infrastructures, and in the Cyber one with the consolidation of essential services such as SOC and the team of Incident Response.

In 2022, these projects will be further strengthened through the proposal of new services that will also provide for the recruitment of specialized staff, and will be supported by a team of GRC Advisory who will have the task of supporting our customers in defining the governance of the Finally 2022 will be for us the year in which we will consolidate our security proposal in the context of the OT/IoT.

The key component of digital transformation is the cloud. What are the choices that Italian companies will have to make in 2022?

In recent years, companies have understood and learned to appreciate cloud technologies, thanks to the paradigm \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ Surely it is reliability, performance and scalability at the top of the list of factors that have led to this appreciation. What is happening in recent times and which should have its turning point in 2022 is the element that completes this picture: companies are realizing that relying on managed and automated infrastructures allows them to focus much more on the efficiency of the system. In other words, awareness of the economic benefits of Cloud technologies is also spreading.

After the Cop26 it was understood that sustainability, both environmental and social, now affects not only all countries but also all companies. What is your strategy on these issues?

Sustainability has been a priority for our company for years. We were among the first IT companies to draw up their own sustainability report. In addition to starting years ago, to raise awareness among our customers about sustainability, also by producing our own line of eco-sustainable clothing. We have recently created an internal competence center dedicated to the digital and sustainable transition within the E Group. The competence center aims precisely to bring evangelization and propose innovation projects on the theme of digital transition in our customers companies also by finding financial resources for Our strategy is therefore to support our customers not only with ideas, but also with the resources needed to implement projects.

ICT idea of 2022

If you were to offer a single investment (product, solution, methodology) to an Italian company, a choice that could produce an immediate benefit in terms of efficiency and competitiveness, what would your advice be about?

The right direction for 2022 is safety. Addressing investments in information security according to criteria derived from business objectives, integrating recognised methods and frameworks for IT risk management, understanding and improving the maturity model of the organisation (Cd. CMM • Capabilities Maturity Model), measuring metrics that highlight and communicate to stakeholders the benefits of the Permanent Safety Plan.
