Google and Confindustria today announced in Milan a collaboration plan to support Italian companies in the digital transformation process.

A project presented by the President of Confindustria Vincenzo Boccia and Matt Brittin, President Business and Operations Emea of Google, which will focus on the central issues of people training, support for employability and internationalisation. All with artificial intelligence.

To give Italian companies digital tools and following the line of the Mise National Enterprise 4.0 Plan, the agreement will leverage the associative skills and the territorial network of Confindustria, combined with the technology and initiatives of Google.

The project will be developed on four directives: support for the internationalisation of enterprises, training on digital skills, online presence of companies, machine learning and artificial intelligence for SMEs.

For the internationalisation of businesses Google provides free tools that will allow entrepreneurs to have a basic framework on countries of interest and evaluate an innovative approach to foreign countries.

For the training of generations who are still to enter the labour market, as well as adults who are at risk of leaving early due to a skills deficit, Google will implement, in collaboration with the training organizations of Confindustria, a platform for associated enterprises containing pathways for the

Training activities are planned to enhance the initiatives Orientagiovani and Pmi Day of Confindustria, and the project Growing up in digital by Google, to offer free training and paid internships in the company.

For the online presence of Confindustria companies, through their Associations, will promote the use of the free tools that Google offers to companies to manage their online presence and thus facilitate their visibility on the search engine and on maps.
