Amazon Web Services announces Amazon FinSpace, an analysis service that reduces the time it takes for financial stability institutions (IFS) to find, prepare and analyse financial data from months to minutes.

Amazon FinSpace aggregates, catalogs and labels data between the data silos of an organization, making them easily searchable by the entire organization.

Amazon Web Services specifies that the service includes an analytical engine called Apache Spark operated specifically, which contains over 100 data transformations commonly used in the capital markets sector to prepare data for analysis on a petabyte scale.

In order for financial stability institutions (IFS) to meet their compliance requirements in a simple way, Amazon FinSpace ensures that data access controls are implemented and that use is tracked at all times.

According to Aws, Amazon FinSpace provides an easy-to-use web application that gives analysts of hedge funds, asset management companies, insurance companies, investment banks and other FSI organisations access to the information they have

Aws has made it clear that there are no initial costs or commitments to use Amazon FinSpace, and customers only pay for stored data, enabled users and the calculation used to prepare and analyze data.
