Huawei announced that its Atlas AI Computing Platform is ready for commercial-wide intelligence solutions.

The Atlas AI computing platform, explains the company, is enhanced by Huawei’s Ascend AI series processors. The Atlas range includes products with various form factors, including acceleration modules, cards, edge stations and appliances. This provides a solution for intelligent infrastructure that embraces all possible device-edge-cloud scenarios.
Huawei Ascend AI processors are based on Da Vinci 3D Cube architecture. They are designed to offer very high computing density and energy efficiency. Features that allow Atlas to achieve high computing power in relation to the versatility of form factor.
The Atlas AI products
The AI Atlas 200 Accelerator Module is packaged into a form factor equal to half the size of a credit card. This supports real-time HD video analysis at 16 channels and can be installed on devices such as cameras, robots and drones.
L It also integrates a graphical programming environment to increase the efficiency of the development activity. Applications can be developed on the Developer Kit and implemented in device-edge-cloud scenarios with zero code changes.
The Atlas 300 AI Accelerator Board instead adopts a half-height, half-length form factor of a standard PCIe board. It provides up to 64 TOPS of performance in INT8 processing and supports 64 channel real-time HD video analysis. With an energy consumption of 67 W. Atlas 300 also features 32 GB memory, which further improves performance in analytics and high density inference video activities.
The Atlas 500 AI edge station offers the necessary performance to perform real-time data processing on the edge. A single device can provide 16 TOPS performance in INT8 processing. With extremely low energy consumption, less than 1 kWh per day. The device is designed to support complex natural environments on the perimeter, operating permanently under conditions of use difficult from -40° C to +70° C.
