Amazon has presented Show Mode, an interactive voice experience for Alexa-based PCs, exclusively on a selection of Windows 10 Lenovo Yoga, IdeaPad and ThinkPad devices. Show Mode automatically and without additional costs transforms the Lenovo PC into a smart display.

From convertible laptops to notebooks, the visual experience fits the different forms factor of Lenovo PCs. Show Mode allows you to perform more tasks, even when the user is not sitting in front of the computer.

Just say ., open Show Mode, or click the ., Show Mode, in the Alexa App on your PC to start the experience.

Show Mode supports many of Alexa’s most popular features and allows you to ask for information on different topics, try recipes, play, set appointments, create activity lists, read an audiobook with Audible and much more.

In addition, you can control compatible smart home devices or instantly call contacts through Drop-In, simply using the item.

Alexa for PC can therefore count on large displays, high quality microphones and the computing power required to return an immersive user experience.

In addition, Alexa for PC in Show Mode allows you to get the most out of your PC even when it is not active.

With Alexa’s… (tax and forget) experience in Show Mode, customers can talk to Alexa on a large screen without necessarily being in front of the PC and without taking the smartphone.

In collaboration with Amazon, Lenovo announced for the first time Alexa Show Mode on the top of the Lenovo Yoga Slim 9i range at CES 2021. Working with Amazon, Lenovo has optimized the Show Mode experience thanks to the automatic rating when the device is in standby, improved acoustic quality and better battery performance, taking advantage of Lenovo PC hardware.
